Good old fashioned diner ambiance, if you grew up in a small town, y'all will feel right at home. People actually visiting while they eat, instead of staring at a phone or laptop. Busy, but fast, friendly service kept up - made us feel like one of the locals (even though we were not). Food was fresh and tasty, and the coffee cup was kept filled. Everything we ordered had that "down home" taste, we'll definitely be back next time we're in the area!
This is a great place to eat breakfast or lunch . I had the catfish special today . Everything was fresh and very good !! The staff is very friendly and give you service through out the meal. This is a gem in the heart of Quitman and East Texas !!!

Casual atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food! My son and I came in for late breakfast, the haystack I ordered was delicious and his chocolate chip pancakes smelt like birthday cake- he commented how good it was! Service was great and our food came out nice and hot. Looking forward to trying more of the menu.
Don't let the unassuming building put you off. Stop by and grab a seat inside. I go in for breakfast, and enjoy large omelettes chock full of breakfast meats and vegetables. Great hash browns, with home cooked biscuits and country gravy. Food is hot and tasty, priced very reasonable. I make it a point to stop in when I am in Quitman in the morning.
